Willamette Week gives a bottle of wine, we give an original piece of art from a ‘trees’ series by Arch Diack.

For the first 70 donors, that is.

Only those who give $500 or more to Friends of Trees via Willamette Week’s Give!Guide are eligible for an ink on paper print, ranging from post card to calendar size.

Diack gifted his collection of original illustrations to Friends of Trees when he passed away. A renowned heart surgeon who also invented the automatic defribillator, Diack’s true passion was for environmental preservation and restoration.

Much of this passion is expressed in his work, which illustrates forest scenes as well as urban trees.

All signed prints will be delivered by Friends of Trees in January.

Donations from $25 are eligible for incentives, which include a New Seasons bag of wine and tea, lottery ticket possibly worth $1,000, and an invitation-only concert at Berbati’s Pan, to name a few.
