Give!Guide: What a year!

Thank you to the 450 of you who gave to Friends of Trees through the Willamette Week Give!Guide at year’s end. We hope you enjoy your pizza, beer, and the other tasty rewards, because you earned them!

For the fourth straight year, Friends of Trees received a bonus for having the largest number of donors under 35 years old in the environment category. Thanks to all of our younger donors!

In all, you donated $26,574 to plant more trees in neighborhoods and green spaces, exceeding last year’s total! Collectively the Give!Guide raised more than $3 million for local nonprofit organizations, far beyond their expectations. We’d like to acknowledge the generous business partners who helped us have another successful year: the Lumberyard Indoor Bike Park, HOTLIPS Pizza + Soda, and Hopworks Urban Brewery. Please support these businesses, because they support trees!

And in case you haven’t heard, Hopworks is also donating a portion of sales to Friends of Trees for the rest of January 2015 at the Powell Avenue location in Portland. Cheers!
