Fruit Tree Giveaway & Large Tree Sale on April 21

Join Friends of Trees as we celebrate spring at our annual Fruit Tree Giveaway and Large Tree Sale!

The event, which is sponsored by Symantec, will be Saturday, April 21, at 3117 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to get some young bare-root fruit trees for your yard and support a great organization.

Fruit trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and Friends of Trees suggests a minimum $5 donation per fruit tree. Trees cannot be reserved or held in advance, so you must be present on Saturday to purchase your tree.

Because the trees are donated from local nurseries, Friends of Trees has no way of knowing specifically what will be available in advance. In past years, we have had a large number of apples and pears, and we expect similar numbers and varieties this year.

Shade trees from our planting season will also be sold, with prices ranging from $25 to $85 per tree.
