Find out why there’s an exclamation point in Give!Guide

GiveGuide_Logo-MaroonThe fun has begun! Willamette Week’s Give!Guide is ready for a new season of giving.

Friends of Trees is excited to be in the Give!Guide again this year. We appreciate everyone who helped us receive $12,000 in Give!Guide gifts last year. We hope you’ll help us reach our 2010 goal of $20,000.

The Give!Guide is designed to help nonprofits connect with new donors and volunteers and to encourage everyone, especially people who are 18 to 35 years old, to give.

It’s also fun. Find out why there’s an exclamation point in Give!Guide. All who donate $50 or more receive gifts in return. And when you give online, you can watch Friends of Trees’ giving graph grow.

This year you can also help launch the holiday giving season at Willamette Week’s Give It Up PDX! party on November 11. Learn more about the bands, food and fun at the Left Bank Thursday night.

Many thanks to Lamb’s Markets for making the first donation this year by sponsoring our Give!Guide ad. Won’t you join the fun? Give early so your giving inspires others to give. And tell your friends. The more who give, the merrier the new year will be!
