Hugged a tree today? Garryana greets friends at Sunday Parkways
Recognize any of the tree huggers in this slideshow?
Friends of Trees’ Garryana the Oak, also known at times as Garry the Oak, got lots of hugs today at Sunday Parkways in North Portland.
If you missed your chance to hug a tree today, you’ll have another chance at the next Sunday Parkways on July 18 in East Portland. Just watch for the towering big-eyed tree with the heart on her bark.
You can also see Garry/Garryana in downtown Portland and at a Blazers game.
