Bring your a-game: world record tree hug July 12
In case you missed it last year, Portland set the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest tree hug when 936 people gathered at Hoyt Arboretum and simultaneously wrapped their arms around some bark.
July 12 we’re going to break that record. Again. And here’s the thing: WE NEED YOU THIS YEAR. Last week, 2,000 tree-huggers gathered in Nepal in an attempt to break the record. And Scotland also has their eye on the prize.
Can you join us July 12 for the biggest tree hug on Earth?
Below is a video of last year’s hug.
