Planting a tree in 7 easy steps

Here at Friends of Trees we get excited about planting trees. But we get even more excited when other people are inspired to plant trees and teach others about planting trees. Meet one of our newest (and youngest) tree ambassadors: Alyssa. Alyssa was recently so inspired by the patented (okay, it is not actually patented) Friends of Trees planting process that she chose to share it with her second grade classmates as part of a school project.

Check out Alyssa’s awesome poster which lays out the easy-to-follow steps of planting a tree the “Friends of Trees way.” In seven easy steps you, too, can plant a tree, and then “you can watch your tree grow, you can enjoy its shade and watch the animals that make it their home!”
