Portland Urban Forestry offers internships
Portland Urban Forestry is offering two internships, one to start this month and another in June.
The unpaid intern will work for a duration of 300 hours on a variety of projects, like street tree inventory, canopy measurement, mapping, outreach and communications.
This Americorps position will provide a $1,000 educational stipend upon successful completion. The only potential downside: interns will likely have to work typical urban forestry hours, which are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

And of course, Friends of Trees has various internship opportunities available year-round.
