Gresham’s Tree Forum starts Saturday at 9 a.m. at City Hall with an open house on the benefits of trees.

Forum speakers and participants include longtime Friends of Trees volunteer Jim Gersbach, who will be presenting on the values of street and yard trees.

Nancy Buley and Keith Warren of J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co.—a longtime Friends of Trees sponsor—will also be participating in the event.

There will also be an arboretum street tree design activity for Gradin Sports Park.

The event runs until 12 p.m., with refreshments being provided in between all of the events.
