Downtown Vancouver planting next week
The urban forestry department and downtown association in Vancouver are planting 40 trees along Evergreen Boulevard March 27.
The event begins at 9 a.m., but participants are encouraged to come early to enjoy a breakfast provided by Chronis’ Restaurant.
Similar to a Friends of Trees planting, equipment and training will be provided—simply dress appropriately for the weather.
The next Friends of Trees planting in Vancouver is scheduled for this Saturday, March 20.
