NeighborWoods Stewards Training – Like trees? Become a NeighborWoods Steward!

Beginning this March, Vancouver Urban Forestry offers NeighborWoods Stewards Trainings covering general tree care, tree biology, tree planting, preservation, identification and much more! NeighborWoods Stewards lead tree projects in their neighborhoods. In fact, many Friends of Trees volunteers are NeighborWoods Stewards!

Neighborhood Tree Planting – West Vancouver
February 25 (9 am – 1 pm)

Friends of Trees and Vancouver Urban Forestry are hosting a neighborhood planting in West Vancouver, WA, on Saturday, February 25. Neighborhoods getting new trees include Rose Village, Lincoln, Shumway, Hough, Harney Heights, Edgewood Park, Northwest, Carter Park, Fourth Plain Village, Fruit Valley, Hudson’s Bay and Arnada.

Come join us to help plant!

For all of Friends of Trees’ plantings, you just need to show up by 8:45 am to register and be assigned to a crew. We’ll provide coffee and breakfast treats, gloves, tools and trained guidance. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. No experience needed!
