Urban Ecology & Conservation Symposium

Today is the last day to register online for the Ninth Urban Ecology & Conservation Symposium, which will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m on Monday, January 24, at the Smith Center Ballroom, Portland State University. The cost is $30 if you register online, $15 for students, or $35 at the door.

The symposium will focus on urban environmental issues and the practical application of related ecological and social sciences in the greater Portland, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, area. It will include guest speakers, presentations, networking, and partnership building.

The symposium is hosted by the Urban Ecosystem Research Consortium, a consortium of people from regional educational institutions, local, state and federal agencies, nonprofit organizations and businesses that support urban ecosystem research.
