Truck Driver (+ trailers too!)

Where: Truck Drivers are needed in almost all of the areas we plant in. If you’re in Aloha, Beaverton, Gresham, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, Oregon City, Portland, Vancouver, or Wilsonville — we have need for you!

When: Truck Drivers are needed at Saturday morning neighborhood plantings November – April, 8:30am-1pm.

How to sign-up: Let us know you can drive your truck on planting day by signing-up below or on the Event Calendar. Select the event you want, and fill out the Truck Driver registration form. A huge thank you for considering this very important role!

About this role: Are you free on Saturday morning and have access to a pickup truck or open trailer? We could use your help! Trucks and trailers are invaluable to our planting crews who need help moving trees to their new homes! Your truck or trailer can help bring more trees to your city!

Volunteers in this role arrive at the event site around 8:30am to find their parking spot, sign in, and meet their planting crew. Your planting crew will load up your truck or trailer with tools and 5-8 trees shortly after 9am. You’ll then drive and stop at several houses around the neighborhood to plant trees until about 1pm. You are welcome to help your planting crew plant the trees, although it’s not a required part of this role.
