Characteristics:
Considered "the gold standard for prunes", the Stanley is a European plum variety that is self-fertile and disease resistant. They have drier flesh than Japanese plum varieties, are great for kids to eat fresh, and tolerate heat and sun very well. They area also self-fruitful and extremely cold hardy.

Growing Conditions:
In general, fruits need sunlight to ripen fruit and the Stanley prune is no exception.
