Stately, pyramidal tree with glossy green leaves and clusters of small, fragrant, yellow flowers in summer.
Prefers full sun to part shade. Best in moist, fertile soil, but will tolerate drier, heavier soils.

Pale yellow flowers. Unusual light green, elongated bracts at base of flower and fruit clusters.
Heart-shaped leaf tapering to a long point. A dull dark green on top with lighter green undersides. Yellow fall color.
Gray-brown and shallowly ridged.
