Growing Conditions:
Grows well in fertile, well-drained soil, in full sun.

Uses:
Edible fruit, pollinate with Seckle, Dawn, Waite, Mangess, or Starkling. Extra large pear that is yellow with a slight red blush. Very smooth flesh, juicy and excellent mild flavor. Great for fresh eating, cooking or canning.

Bright green, oval, slightly curved, leaves come to a point at the end.

More Information:
The trees have strong vertical branches and require little pruning. Fireblight is the most serious of pear diseases. Caterpillars, leaf roller, blister mites, aphids, scale insects, dieback, powdery mildew and scab can also be a problem.
