Characteristics:
Deciduous broadleaf tree, medium-sized and vase-shaped with resistance to Dutch Elm Disease and elm leaf beetle.

Growing Conditions:
Tolerates a wide variety of growing conditions, including poor or alkaline soils, salts, and air pollution.

Uses:
Shade tree. Good substitute for American elm where a tree with high, spreading crown or large shade tree is desired.

Ashy-gray with net-like ridge/fissure pattern.

Parents native to Asia. A complex hybrid of Ulmus x 'Urban' and U. wilsoniana 'Prospector.'
