Characteristics:
This hawthorn has showy, white spring flowers, glossy, deep green leaves that turn bronze in the fall, and orange fruits that attract birds.

Growing Conditions:
Likes well-drained soil and full sun. Drought tolerant. Medium life span.

Exceptional bronze red fall color.

Narrow in youth to irregular vase with dense outer branching in maturity.

Flowers:
Clusters of white flowers in spring

Leaves:
Dark green, leathery, bronze fall color.

Bark:
Smooth, light gray bark that becomes darker and furrowed with age.

Good pest-resistance. Showy orange berries. Thorns, while present, are sparse and can be pruned. Some people do not like the smell of the flowers.
