One Sunny Saturday

On one sunny Saturday, hundreds of Friends of Trees volunteers planted thousands of trees in four Oregon cities—Eugene, Damascus, Tualatin and Portland.

If you were among our March 9th planters, you might find familiar faces in the slide shows below. Many thanks to volunteer photographers Heather and Nancy Buley, Lindsay Hook, Albert Kaufman, and Jessyca Burke.

And thank you to all of the volunteers who planted with us during the past week, including Portland City Commissioner Steve Novick, former Metro Councilor Rex Burkholder, and the David Douglas High School ESL students. Saturday’s event sponsors were Mountain Rose Herbs, Whole Foods Market, NW Natural, and J. Frank Schmidt & Son Co.
