Where: Tree Stewardship volunteers are needed in the Portland‐Metro,  Salem, & Eugene areas.

When: Tree Stewardship volunteers are needed on Saturday mornings in April. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy. For your safety, no sandals of any kind, please!

More about this role:  Join the work party and help recently planted trees survive the dry, hot summer! As a Tree Stewardship volunteer, you will work alongside other awesome folks to mulch newly-planted trees and shrubs. Occasionally, we will also remove weedy invasive plants that are competing with the precious new plants for sun and water. Tree Stewardship events can be physical in nature, and are great for people looking for a work out! This work is fun and ensures the highest level of plant survival through the dry summer months.
