Characteristics:
This unique conifer is deciduous providing year-round interest. The soft needles that emerge in the spring are vibrant green in color.

More Information:
Native range from Delaware to Florida, west to Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana. In fact it is the official state tree of Louisiana. Looks like an evergreen tree - but loses it's needles in the fall.
