This elm has beautiful dark, glossy green leaves with a sturdy, symmetrical form.
Generally adaptable to urban conditions. Easily transplanted, quick to establish and regain rapid growth. Adaptable to most soil types unless excessively wet.

Furrowed grey bark
Resistant to Dutch elm disease and elm yellows; good resistance to elm leaf beetle. Hybrid parentage is Ulmus wilsoniana, U. japonica, and U. pumila.
