Weathers Park (Salem)

Celebrate Arbor Day with Friends of Trees and the City of Salem by planting a variety of native and ornamental trees at Weathers Park.
This event is full and closed to further groups and individuals. Please consider joining our Sat, May 5th Tree Care event in Salem instead. Thank you for your interest!
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!
Are you under age 18 and planting without your parent/guardian? A signed youth waiver is required for you to volunteer. We kindly request youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.
