PDX Parent Celebrates the City (SE Portland)

Come and say Hi to our Friends of Trees team, we will have lots of buttons and stickers for folks and plenty of information about how to get involved with Friends of Trees.

On Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the historic Oaks Amusement Park, we’re hosting the first ever PDX Parent Celebrates the City festival, presented by KEEN Kids with partner sponsors Hopworks Urban Brewery, the Oregon Zoo, Pietro’s Pizza and Coldwell Banker Bain. The event will bring you together with your favorite local businesses for a day of family fun, giveaways, music and community spirit.

We’re putting together a great slate of entertainment featuring local faves Mo Phillips, Olive & Dingo Productions, and Penny’s Puppet Productions, plus a demonstration from NW Dance Project, storytimes from the stage with Green Bean Books, and a kid-parent yoga class with Imagination Yoga.

There will be plenty of kid activities from Trackers Earth, Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), Thinker Toys, KEEN Kids, Mad Science, Portland Pickles Baseball, Pietro’s Pizza, The Oaks Amusement Park, Spark Arts Center, Vibe of Portland, Bike Gallery,and more.

At the event you can enter to win tickets and a meet-and-greet with The Wild Kratts, plus great giveaways from local businesses, including KEEN Kids, The Portland Pickles, Bike Gallery, Out of this World Pizza, and more!

We’ll have treats for sale from Kona Ice, plus free KIND bars!

PDX Parent Celebrates the City is a free event. Oaks Amusement Park attractions are sold separately, and their hours are different from the celebration’s. Check OaksPark.com for hours and attraction prices.
