Save the Giant Sequoias

Eastmoreland neighbors have saved these three 150 year old sequoias - but they still need donations to pay back the loan they took out to fill the funding gap.

Please make your tax-deductible contribution today through Friends of Trees.

Eastmoreland Save the Giants

Act Today to Save These Giant Sequoias

Together we saved three 100+ year old sequoias in SE Portland. With a circumference of 20 feet each, the massive beauties have been growing since Portland truly was Stumptown.

These three giants had been in danger of being cut down for future development.

Fortunately, a coalition of neighbors, Portlanders and tree lovers came together to form a grassroots campaign to make sure these trees continue to grow. Friends of Trees is aiding this effort through a fiscal sponsorship and by making a tax deductible donation today you can join with us.

As Portland struggles with its current growing pains and how to add density, our prime consideration should to protect and preserve those things that cannot be replaced.

Help us save these majestic century old trees with your tax deductible gift today.

Help Portland stay green.
