You don’t need to wear a red blazer and heels to prune a tree, though it made great pruning attire for KATU’s Angelica Thornton.

Friends of Trees had a big week in Washington D.C., joining hundreds of other tree proponents to speak on behalf of green infrastructure and specifically the capitalization of trees.

Usually, sorting 300 tree tags takes much longer than 26 seconds.

The Arbor Day Foundation is running a student video contest through April 9 that will award $2,500 worth of trees planted on or near a college campus.
The top three inspirational videos will be displayed on the Arbor Day Web site.
