Sustainability summit to include planting partners

The Coalition for a Livable Future will host a regional sustainability summit Thursday, including breakout sessions that feature Friends of Trees planting partners.

David Bragdon wins Arbor Day Foundation award

Public urges commissions for tree policy action

An overwhelming majority of testimony Tuesday night supported moving the Citywide Tree Project (CTP) forward to a vote by the Portland City Council.

Clackamas tree ordinance heard March 22

On March 22 a new tree ordinance for Clackamas County will have its public unveiling.
Residents and concerned citizens are encouraged to come to the Development Services Building, 150 Beavercreek Road, Oregon City, for an opportunity to speak and comment before the Clackamas County Planning Commission.

Ascending the Giants presentation next week

The Audubon Society of Portland is hosting an adult education course on winter tree identification Sunday, Feb. 21.
