Party with Friends of Trees, Audubon Society of Portland, and the Forest Park Conservancy at The Waypost, 3120 N Williams Ave., from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on March 13. We’ll hear from Metro about Measure 26-152 and how we can help it pass in this May’s election.
In 1995 and again in 2006, Metro voters passed measures to purchase and protect some of our region’s most significant undeveloped land. Metro now manages more than 16,000 acres, including 100+ miles of stream and river frontage, wetlands, prairies and forests. The levy will determine whether or not this network of parks and natural areas can be restored and maintained.
Donating to the campaign isn’t required if you come to the party, but it’s encouraged. If you want to help but can’t join us on March 13, you can donate here.
Passing the levy will create a legacy for Oregon’s future. Please join us—and invite your friends to join us, too!
