Whether you are a Friends of Trees customer who has yet to purchase your new trees, or you are an interested citizen wanting to further cultivate your tree knowledge, you won’t want to miss this presentation!
Please join us next Thursday, January 20, in the Community Room (Room 120) of the Concordia University Library (map) at 7 p.m. for a stellar slide show by local expert Jim Gersbach. Jim’s nearly 20-year commitment to tree planting and urban forest advocacy in Portland has imparted him with a unique understanding of which trees grow well in our city. This will be your last chance to see Jim’s presentation this planting season!
Hosted by Friends of Trees and the Concordia Tree Team, the evening should be brimming with knowledgeable commentary on dozens of tree species and cultivars. This event is FREE and open to the public, including light after-dinner refreshments.
