2009-10 Planting Season Bloopers

Posted on May 25, 2010 at 3:47 pm

Dear Readers,

It has been an honor and a privilege to enter the Friends of Trees community, sharing your stories and expanding the realm of local urban forestry.

Friends of Trees planted about 17,500 trees and shrubs during the 2009-10 season. The seven month planting season was hectic, to say the least, and FOT staff and volunteers worked hard and laughed harder throughout.

I want to thank all who contributed to our effort of enhancing the living canopy of the Portland area and here’s to more chuckles this next season.

Thanks again for reading and I hope you enjoy my last blog post, No. 277.

Sincerely,

Toshio Suzuki
